Sally Raven attends as Clerk to Radley Parish Council.

The Working Group will have a minimum of four members made up of two from Radley Parish Council and two from Radley Village Hall Management Committee. The Working Group can invite others to join it and appoints its own chairman.

Terms of Reference

To look into the feasibility of providing a new village hall, including:

1. To obtain advice from the Oxfordshire Rural Community Council.

(It was noted that Lynne Nevin, ORCC, would be willing to meet the Working Group and would be able to advise it on other projects that have taken place so that members could meet other groups to see how project plans were developed.)

2. To investigate the possibility of:

(a) a new site to include village hall, sports pavilion, playing fields, play area

(b) provision of a new building on the existing site.

3. To review designs of village halls.

4. To ascertain funding opportunities.

5. To review the way the new village hall facility should be run, ie through the charity status of the existing village hall.

(NB Only Radley VHMC has power to approach the Charity Commission for any changes.)

6. To report to the Parish Council and the Village Hall Management Committee on a quarterly basis.
